Henry VIII Room – this incredible room has so much character, with its original hand-carved Tudor beams and stunning views across our amazing gardens.

Marquee – if you would like to take your ceremony outdoors, we offer our superb permanent marquee for our civil partnerships in Essex. Complete with twinkling lights and plenty of space for all of your guests, this is a gorgeous option all year round.

Outdoor gazebo – for truly outdoor ceremonies, you may be interested in our delightful custom-built gazebo. Perfectly located in the gardens, this option will bring natural elements to your special day, with an optional canopy in case of inclement weather.

What Will Be Included In Your Day?

For civil partnerships in Essex, we offer the same options as our other wedding ceremonies, like traditional weddings or the cosy and intimate wedding. This means that you will have your ceremony, followed by reception drinks and canapes on the lawn if you wish, and a full reception when your guests have arrived.

You will have a range of options to choose from. For example, if you decide to choose the traditional route, you can enjoy a full day of celebrating with two meals. The ceremony would usually be held around 2:30pm, followed by a three-course wedding breakfast with champagne, and an evening part with a buffet. For this type of civil partnership venue in Essex, you will be able to invite up to 150 guests during the day, and up to 200 in the evening, so you can feel free to invite all of your friends and family.

If you would prefer something smaller, you will love our intimate package, which is focused around creating a relaxed, cost atmosphere. The proceedings with this option will generally begin at around 11am, beginning with the ceremony, followed by a lunch, and ending at 6pm. This gives you around a 7 hour window, which is ample time for you and your guests to enjoy yourselves, and an evening to share together as newlyweds.
